Look fabulous when you are Mother of the Bride or Groom
Welcome to this page, l believe looking and feeling fabulous on your daughter or son’s wedding day is really important but I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve heard a Mum say “oh I’m not important, the day is all about the Bride and Groom, no one will be looking at me anyway!” but………
……..with my 25 years of experience and as a soon to be Mother of the Groom in 2026 (yes I’m helping the Bride too!) I can tell you, YOU ARE IMPORTANT, because without you, there wouldn’t be a Bride or Groom in the first place! I’m probably a similar age to many of the ‘Mum’s’ these days and so I know what works and what doesn’t for flattering looks for Mothers’ of the Bride or Groom so you will be in safe hands with me!
Over the years since April 2000, I have been running my business as a Mobile Make-up Artist & Hairstylist for Weddings and Special Occasions and helped lots and lots of Mum’s look and feel amazing on their daughter or son’s wedding day. Being a Mother of the Bride or Groom’s mum is an important role so feeling and looking fabulous is a great boost for confidence as you meet up with family and friends and for the photographs and videos which will also give many happy memories in years to come.

A consultation takes around 30 minutes and gives us a chance to meet and discuss your requirements. You are welcome to show me any pictures of hairstyles or make-up that you like the look of for inspiration. It is also useful to see your outfit or know the colour you will be wearing for the day, if you have one already, a photo is helpful (don’t worry though if you don’t have one yet yet) and let me know if you have decided on a hat, fascinator or other hair accessory and show me photos if you already have them.
If you are happy and decide to make a booking we will arrange a deposit and discuss whether you would like a trial and if so when would be a suitable time for it.
Trials
I have a purpose built Makeover Studio with good lighting at my home in Hedge End so ideally I prefer to do trials at my Studio but if necessary I can come to you. (There may be a charge for travel of 45p per mile depending on area) If you have a trial I will take photos and write notes to ensure everything can be re-created on the wedding day.
Trials for Mothers of the Bride or Groom Hair and Make-up Trial £90 – £100 (allow approx 2 – 2½ hours) Just Hair £50 – £55 (allow approx 1 -1½ hours) Please discuss very short hair with me. Just Make-up £50 – £55 (allow approx 1 -1½ hours)
The Wedding Day
IOn the Wedding Day I will come to your chosen location or Wedding Venue to help you with your hair and /or make-up whether this is part of the Wedding Party whom I am also helping to get ready or if you are getting ready elsewhere.
On the Wedding Day Getting ready with Bridal Party
Hair and Make-up £120 – £130 (please discuss short and very short hair with me) Just Hair £60 – £65 (Please discuss short & very short hair with me) Just Make-up £60– £65 Very simple Make-up and Finishing Touches to hair £90
Getting ready at a separate location to the Bridal Party or for a separate Individual booking to the Bridal Party
Please note prices are higher as I can only be in one place at one time and so I wouldn’t be able to take a Wedding group booking if I am coming to help you. For that reason I can also only take joint hair and make-up bookings if you aren’t getting ready with the Bridal party that I am also working with.
Hair and Make-up £140 – £150 Includes help with fascinator / hair accessory. *If you have any other guests with you who would like hairstyling and / or make-up please let me know as this could mean you pay less but I can also then take a single hair or make-up booking from you. Please check with me for any travel costs.
